2013-2014 YMCA Montclair Dolphins Red/Black Meet
October 12th 2013 at Montclair YMCA Large Pool
This meet is for all team athletes ages 12/under and all new 13/over.
Please check teams....If you are placed in the RED TEAM...wear RED, and cheer for your team.
If you are placed in the BLACK TEAM...wear BLACK, and cheer for your team.
Saturday 10/12 (age as of 12/1/13)
Ages - 12 and under and NEW 13/0lder
*1:00 Warm Up - 1:45 Start - Conclusion Approx 5:00 (8/U Athletes will end at Approx 2:45)
*Athletes who are late to warm-up will be scratched from the meet
All 13/0 athletes who are not swimming in the meet will be asked to work the meet as a timer, a runner
or a marshall.
Meet Format: Swimmers will be split into two teams - Red and Black. We will be swimming a modified dual meet format.
All Swimmers aged 13 and over will be competing in a 100 of each stroke.
All Swimmers aged 9-12 will be competing in a 50 of each stroke.
All Swimmers aged 8 or younger will be competing in a 25 of each stroke.
We will need officials and timers for this event. All parents will be asked to volunteer in one capacity or another.
Once red/black teams are set, we will post them on the website.
Results from this meet will help us break up the team into 5 sub teams which will compete in different divisions
of the North New Jersey YMCA Dual Meet League or our home team.
